Feathers are just fabulous. They are so versatile ..and can be used for any season hat making. I had the opportunity to attend a master class recently where we learnt so many ways that you can cut, steam, shape, cut , curl and twist feathers .An absolute feather frenzy.

Brides who don't want a white wedding
I am looking forward to meeting some gorgeous brides to talk about what is new for 2014. While I love creating beautiful and classic white and ivory pieces I also know that not every bride is looking for a white wedding...
A lot of brides are not choosing to have a veil so it is important to have something interesting on the head to make sure that the whole "look" is just right for that special day.
This is a wonderful option - gold sinamay feathers on an easy to wear headband. |
Great for a rockabilly bridesmaid and perfect for the days after. |
Not every wedding is a white wedding. Here is a little black number made from folded ribbon and mounted on a headband and finished off with a pretty upcycled brooch. I can see that this would be lovely for the bride that has a little black trim on her gown or equally magnificent for a bridesmaid as a pretty hair accessory.

Going to the chapel and we're gonna get married
I have been working on a bridal range of headwear. Today I was able to take some photos. Two of my gorgeous nieces helped me out by modelling some of my bridal headpieces.
